Gruppe Kobila – ein neues Hotelprojekt / a new hotel resort project

In unmittelbarer Nähe der Insel Mamula, welche in letzter Zeit wegen des geplanten Hotelprojektes weltweit in den Medien war, wurde ein weiteres Hotelressort Projekt bekannt. Am Gelände der ehemaligen Werksgruppe Kobila soll auf einer Fläche von 28 ha ein weiteres artifizielles Hotel Ressort entstehen.
Die betroffene Werksgruppe Kobila bestand aus vier Batterien (Obere- und Untere Küstenbatterie, Torpedo-Batterie, Flankier-Batterie) und einem Wachhaus. Neben der weiteren Zerstörung der Naturlandschaft und der einzigartigen Schönheit der Bucht von Kotor durch eine charakterloses Tourismusprojekt wird dieser Eingriff, so er stattfindet auch sicherlich irreversible Auswirkungen auf die militärhistorischen Objekte auf dieser kleinen Landzunge haben. Ein Umstand wird sich aber wahrscheinlich auf absehbare Zeit als Hindernis für dieses Projekt erweisen – mitten durch das Gelände führt die Staatsgrenze zwischen Montenegro und Kroatien.

In the immediate vicinity of the Mamula island, who was lately very present in the international media because of the planned hotel project, another hotel resort project became known. On the grounds of the former fortress group Kobila plans are existing to build on an area of 28 ha, another artificial resort hotel.
The affected fortress group Kobila consisted of for batteries (Obere- and Lower Coastal Battery, Torpedo battery Flankier battery) and a guard house. In addition to the further destruction of the natural landscape and the unique beauty of the Bay of Kotor by a characterless touristic development it certainly will also have irreversible effects on the military-historical objects on this little penisula. However one circumstance is likely to be to be an obstacle to this project for a foreseeable future – right through the grounds leads the international border between Montenegro and Croatia!
